Introduction

Teno is a tennis matchmaking app that helps players find partners in their city. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Account information: email, display name, password or OAuth identity
  • Profile information: profile photo, rating input, city
  • Location data: city selection and optional device location for travel time
  • Match data: created matches, chat messages, scores, and related activity
  • Device information: push notification token when you opt in

How We Use Your Data

  • Matchmaking and player discovery
  • Rating calculation and history
  • Travel time estimates through Google Routes
  • Push notifications about match, circle, and chat activity
  • Weather and supporting experience data

Security and Retention

Your data is stored on Hetzner-hosted infrastructure and transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, access tokens are short-lived, and refresh tokens are longer-lived. Data is retained while your account is active, with historical match data preserved as needed for rating integrity.
